Dryathlon completed!  Thanks for your support, all funds raised have gone to support Cancer Research to help bring about the day we can say 'up yours' to the evil that is cancer.

 

 

I am doing my bit to raise money for cancer research.  Are you?  You can do it the easy way - sponsor me in my month-long Dryathlon.  For a wine lover like me, it's going to be hell!

 

 

Why am I doing this?  Firstly, because it's the right thing to do.  Secondly, because my Dad has cancer.  A particularly nasty cancer which has almost claimed his life several times, yet sill he fights back.  How does he fight back?  Because a bare few years before he was struck down, research uncovered a drug which had an effect on his condition.  He was lucky.  More and more people are getting lucky, and they have the endless research to thank for that amazing fact.

 

 

Today, as many people survive cancer as die from it!

 

 

So for those stuggling against this vile disease, those parents, children and dear friends, I pledge a month of my life to doing what I can to raise money for those researchers.  Please find it in your heart to sponsor me on my endeavour.
